You can pay using your TwendeWallet (topped up via M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, or Airtel Money), or pay with cash directly to the driver. We're working on adding card payments soon.

Currently, Twende operates primarily in Dar es Salaam. We're actively expanding to other major cities across Tanzania including Dodoma, Arusha, and Mwanza. Stay tuned!

All drivers go through a thorough verification process including background checks, valid driving licenses, vehicle inspection, and registration with LATRA (Land Transport Regulatory Authority).

With our Green Mobility program, a small percentage of your daily ride earnings goes toward paying off the e-bike. There's no fixed monthly bill - repayment is flexible and tied to how much you earn. The more you ride, the faster you own it.

Twendebima is our affordable micro-insurance product designed for bodaboda and bajaji riders. Backed with UNDP under Insurance and Risk Finance Facility (IRFF), it provides personal accident cover, goods in transit protection, hospital cash benefits, and more - all built into every ride with a small per-ride insurance fee automatically charged to drivers.
